Trip to LA Blog 1

I flew into LAX on Sunday night. I watched the Grammys at a friends and pretty much passed out as soon as it was over. The first day of the time change always kills me. It is my first time ever staying at Hermosa Beach. I had no clue how nice it was. Good peoples and incredible views everywhere. I can see the beach as soon as I open my eyes.

I woke up yesterday, twittered, and headed straight to Pauls' studio in Beverly Hills. Typing 90210 into a GPS always gets the 90210 tv show theme song in my head for a few hours. It is so annoying but kind of funny. We started recording some new songs and they already are sounding cool. Always good to see Paul and crew. Anyway, off to the studio now for day 2.

Blender Theater NYC

The show at the Blender Theater went really well. It was good to finally play there after seeing so many of my favorite bands perform there. As always in NYC there were tons of close friends and family. Thanks for the support as always. It goes a long way. As for the Jon McLaughlin set I have never seen anything like it. Literally. Jon was great as usual however for those of you who were not there it was a scene like no other. The fire alarm went off around 5 time directly in the middle of Jon's set. That must have been very frustrating for him. He had to leave the stage with his band each time!!! Anyway he did pull show off. Much Love to Jon McLaughlin and Parachute.
