SHP LIVE AT MERCURY LOUNGE APRIL 28

We are excited to announce a full band show at the Mercury Lounge in NYC April 28. This is a big show for us. We have been rehearsing a lot lately and getting ready to break out some new tunes. We have added a new guitar player so it should be a very exciting show. More details as the show gets closer

Phish

Although I couldn't make it down to the Phish shows in Hampton VA they look to be an incredible time. I will def be going this summer. This looks to good to miss. We will all be in Syracuse practicing our new material in Sals' studio. It should be a productive weekend. Looking forward to playing some full band shows again.

Trip to LA Blog 1

I flew into LAX on Sunday night. I watched the Grammys at a friends and pretty much passed out as soon as it was over. The first day of the time change always kills me. It is my first time ever staying at Hermosa Beach. I had no clue how nice it was. Good peoples and incredible views everywhere. I can see the beach as soon as I open my eyes.

I woke up yesterday, twittered, and headed straight to Pauls' studio in Beverly Hills. Typing 90210 into a GPS always gets the 90210 tv show theme song in my head for a few hours. It is so annoying but kind of funny. We started recording some new songs and they already are sounding cool. Always good to see Paul and crew. Anyway, off to the studio now for day 2.

Blender Theater NYC

Jon McLaughlin show NYC

The show at the Blender Theater went really well. It was good to finally play there after seeing so many of my favorite bands perform there. As always in NYC there were tons of close friends and family. Thanks for the support as always. It goes a long way. As for the Jon McLaughlin set I have never seen anything like it. Literally. Jon was great as usual however for those of you who were not there it was a scene like no other. The fire alarm went off around 5 time directly in the middle of Jon's set. That must have been very frustrating for him. He had to leave the stage with his band each time!!! Anyway he did pull show off. Much Love to Jon McLaughlin and Parachute.

Paradise Boston MA

Good times in Boston last night at the Paradise. I appreciate everyone who returned from the past few times I have played there. Great turnout and it was cool to meet Jon McLaughlin. I promised a few new friends I would post about them convincing me to get involved with twitter so I will do that soon. Now you can know when I will eat a bagel in morning. I think thats what twitter does. I will let you guys know how New York City show goes tonight.

The Blender Theater in NYC is a place I have been looking forward to playing and I will finally have the chance next Saturday. writing

I have been writing a lot lately. I am getting excited about returning to LA to work on the record. The new direction of some of the songs I am writing feels really good. My friends and family are reacting well to the stuff I have played for them and sometimes they are the hardest critiques of all. I am going to try and let you hear them as soon as possible. In the next couple of days I will be linking all the blogs I am writing and the blogspot will also be able to be seen on scottharrisproject.com. Right now I am off to the gym to do some swimming. I am a terrible swimmer but Michael Phelps inspires us all right?
